I swear, this family could write an amazing book with the story of their little guy’s arrival. A cliff notes version includes a premature delivery the day after they arrived in Florida for a mini family vacation/baby-moon. Mama went into labor, headed to the hospital with her husband and almost 2 year old in tow and a few hours later welcomed their son into the world. They were stuck in a hotel in Florida while their little guy was in the NICU for a week and had absolutely nothing with them (because, who would expect to have their baby while traveling out of state at 34 weeks pregnant). It’s an amazing story that I have no doubt will follow little River as he grows! Such a strong little boy in such a tiny 5 lb body.
