And just like that, the first month of this new year has come and gone! I don't know about you, but I have finally gotten into the groove of writing 22 on things.
What we did last month
Emma Turned 2 on the 30th of January. We celebrated with a little party with some close friends!
Emma also had her first haircut (that I totally lapsed and didn't document because I had all 4 kids with me at the appointment)
Millie turned 5 months old. Her personality, cheeks, and smile are getting bigger and bigger each month!
Snow came to North Georgia! We had a few good snow days as a family. Snow days are days that I don't think I will ever forget when my children get older.
Sessions, Sessions, Sessions! Normally January is a slower month since families have just gotten off the heels of fall photos for Christmas cards. This January was filled with milestone sessions and newborns!
Nate preached for the first time (actually on Emma's birthday) and I could not be more proud of him. The Lord has given us confidence over the last month that we are where we need to be in this season.
We started touring schools for Jude in the Fall (1st grade... how did that happen). Also entertaining the possibility of homeschooling- so homeschooling mamas give me your thoughts!
Launched the Hello Jude Store!!!!
We had our first incident with a pair of scissors playing barber. Luckily it was one of the boys!
Our first Family hike as a family of 6! Two and 1/2 miles the night before the snow came.
I reached a milestone as a mama and have now nursed Millie longer than any other baby.
Things that January has taught me.
Trusting the process. Nate and I prayed so much about his career transition and after a lot of going back and forth took a leap of faith in trusting for the Lord to provide for our family. So far we have seen the Lord's hand at work and his faithfulness to our family. I am so excited and encouraged to see how this new career will grow our family.
