Things that happened in February
We took the boys on a trip to Great Wolf Lodge with a non-profit organization that I work for! IN-CREDIBLE!
My sister came for a little weekend visit which we SO enjoyed
Lots of babies were in the studio and many milestone sessions were had
Handmade valentines with the kiddos
Lots of sickness for Emma causing mama frustration trying to find the culprit
Little tastes of warmer weather and time outside together
Celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Nate proposing
Had the chance to meet our first great-niece and have dinner with Nate’s sister and our nephew
February Goals that happened and didn’t happen:
Actually use my camera to take photos of the kids- I have gotten in a rut of not documenting our life together with my professional camera. I always love the challenge and creative outlet to use my camera photo-journalistically for our own family, but I've gotten out of the habit of doing it. (I’d say I did OK. Really only brought it out like 4 times though, so I definitely need to continue to work on this)
Continue the contentment challenge
Practice social media free weekends and evenings (oof, honestly forgot I made this a goal…)
Cook and eat 3 meals a day (most days yes, but all days no)
Sort and organize the kids' clothes and purge things that they have outgrown
Finally finish reading 'Habits of the Household' (sadly only got through one more chapter)
Continue to blog 3x/week and create a new youtube video at least 2x/month
Goals for March (some of these are actually goals for 2023 as a whole):
Continue to try to actually use my camera to take photos of the kids
Finish up the contentment challenge
Practice social media free weekends and evenings
Cook and eat 3 meals a day
Sort and organize the studio wardrobe, refresh the paint and update a few things in the office
Finally finish reading 'Habits of the Household'
Continue to blog 3x/week and create a new youtube video at least 2x/month
Prep kids’ Easter baskets
Things I'm looking forward to this month
Our church is hosting a women’s conference on March 24th and 25th! If you’d like to join us, you can check out more info here.
My in-laws will be coming into town for a few days. This will be their first time meeting the girls and our first time seeing them since 2019.
Prepping our garden for this spring!
Hopefully some warmer days and enjoying some sunshine outside- We thrive off of outdoor play time and the winter blues have me dreaming of summertime.
Starting spring cleaning around the house. Organizing, purging, and piling things for a potential yard sale- maybe I can convince Nate that this is the year for that!
