The Newborn Session Process
Newborn photoshoots don’t need to be an impossible, stressful experience! I’ve been there, mama! As a mother of 4 little ones I’ve seen every side of the newborn photography experience. I’ve seen the postpartum days trying to shop with a newborn tag-along to find something that fits my new body. I’ve seen the frustration when trying to get everyone bathed and dressed for a session. I’ve seen the stress of having to tidy up my house for a photographer to come in and photograph our family inside of it. I’m here to tell you, mama, that is not the way it has to be!
From the moment that baby is born I’ve already taken care of the entire process for you. All you need to do is show up and sit back and enjoy that precious baby. From a beautiful studio space (that didn’t require you to find a hiding spot for all those diaper boxes), to professional hair and makeup if you choose. And don’t forget a stocked wardrobe of dresses in a variety of sizes, styles, and colors with plenty of options for you to choose from (none of which required you to take the baby to Target at 9pm on a Tuesday night). Instead of spending the money on outfits to wear for the photos, you can choose to invest in beautiful artwork to showcase your images.
From soothing your baby, swaddling your baby, changing any wet diapers, and making sure they are safe- I am here! I know that the stress alone is enough to make moms want to skip the newborn session process, but that doesn’t have to be the case! I’ve done everything in my power to eliminate any stressors you may have on your session day.
Ezra’s Newborn Session
This sleepy boy had his first big debut in the studio a few weeks back. His family won one of my Wonder Year Collections when I had my birthday week giveaways. I am so beyond thrilled to get to capture all of the big milestones of his first year and to watch him grow. Mama was pampered by Kelly with Sweet Annie Salon when she arrived at the studio. I had already selected dresses in her size and style preferences for her to choose from. I absolutely LOVE the blue and white floral kimono dress she chose! I feel like it really made her gorgeous blue eyes pop and her dark hair shine. WE paired dad in a white button up with his jeans, and together they created a classic and timeless feel for their photos. I can see their family treasuring these photos for generations to come!
Here are some of my many favorites from Ezra’s Studio Newborn Session in the Clarkesville Natural Light Studio.
