Allen and Hayli
Last year I invited Hayli and Allen over to our home for dinner to talk about the possibility of photographing their wedding. Allen and my husband Nate lived on the same hall their freshman year at college, so it was fun to be able to meet Hayli and hear about how they met. Hayli showed me images of their venue, talked about their vision for their wedding, and talked about how important wedding photography was to them both. Since that night, I have been looking forward to October 18th SO much!
Allen and Hayli's Corner District Wedding
When I arrived to the Corner District in Ball Ground on Thursday I was so excited to see them both! The last time we saw one another was over that meal at my home, so it had been quite some time! Hayli and all of her bridesmaids were in the bridal suite which was a gorgeous room with exposed brick walls and then a really pretty white bead-board wall (which we took full advantage of for some portraits and detail images).
Hayli has the most contagious smile. SERIOUSLY! On top of that, I'm not sure she stopped smiling the entire day! Their wedding was such a sweet celebration of how the Lord brought them together.
Hayli and Allen decided to share a first look before the wedding. As I was walking Allen over to where Hayli was, I could see the nerves in his face. After setting up for the first look, he took a deep breath and then saw Hayli for the first time! Their first few moments together were some of my favorite from the entire day. Hayli pretty much collapsed into a ball of emotion in Allen's arms and they embraced for a good 10 minutes. Every few seconds Allen would take a step back, admire Hayli's beauty, and then embrace again.
I absolutely love the tears of joy in this image. I asked Allen to whisper in Hayli's ear 3 reasons why he was so excited to marry her. I can only imagine what he said to get such a sweet reaction from Hayli, but I am sure she will never forget what he told her!
Moments before the ceremony started, the train right in front of the venue got stuck, so it bought us a few extra minutes to grab some bridal party portraits before the wedding began.
As Hayli's dad was walking down the aisle, I caught the sweetest interaction between them. Their relationship was so sweet to watch. I absolutely loved seeing them together!
Thank you so much to an amazing team of vendors for working together to create the perfect wedding for Hayli and Allen. And thank you to Allen and Hayli for entrusting me to capture the best day of your life!
